SLAYER documents several passive layers for Demon characters: faction-wide Demon Perks, art-specific BDA Perks, and a broader BDA Passives list. Keep those pools separate. A passive name on the public board does not prove that it is enabled, obtainable or unchanged in the current server.
Demon Perks roster
Common
Predator
Documented as extra damage to Slayers. It is matchup-specific rather than a universal PvE bonus.
Uncommon
Bloodthirst
Documented to refill part of the Blood bar on a kill. Test valid targets and whether assists count.
Uncommon
Bloodrush
Documented to refill Blood on each M1. Compare connected hits, not animation swings.
Uncommon
Iron Hide
Documented to reduce damage from blades. It may not apply to arts, grabs or non-blade damage.
Rare
Hardened Flesh
Documented to reduce limb damage. Test against a repeatable limb-severance source.
Legendary
No effect listed
The current Demon Perks card shows an empty Legendary section. Do not invent an entry to fill the tier.
Art-specific BDA Perks
The current BDA Perks card links named effects to arts such as Wind Fan, Black Lightning, Moon, Destructive Death and Combustible Blood. These perks modify a specific moveset, so the result matters only when you use the corresponding art and trigger its condition.
Test the base move first. Then equip or activate the perk and repeat the same target, range and setup. If the perk mentions the first hit, separate first-hit behavior from the rest of a multi-hit skill. If it mentions a foe mid-attack, reproduce that state instead of testing against an idle dummy.
Bugged and disabled passives
The BDA Passives area explicitly marks Undying Flesh and Parasite as bugged or disabled in the current documentation. Do not plan a build around their written survival or damage effects until the live client shows they are enabled and reproducible.
Other documented passives include Mirror Flesh, Blood Pact, Bloodrage, Brute, Claws, Combustion Heart, Iron Coagulation, Crimson Thirst, Venom Blood and Night Stalker. Their text provides a working role, but exact values and interactions remain update-sensitive.
Choose by resource and risk
Bloodthirst and Bloodrush are resource effects with different triggers: kills versus connected M1s. Predator is a matchup effect. Iron Hide is damage-type defense. Hardened Flesh is limb-specific defense. Choose the condition you can reproduce in the activity you play.
Broader passives can carry burdens or health costs. Blood Pact, for example, is documented around health cost and stronger art hits. A damage increase is not free when the condition reduces survival. Read the complete live tooltip, including burden text.
Test one passive at a time
Keep clan, art, stats, target and server constant. Record the bar or damage before and after one valid trigger. For a kill effect, verify the target qualifies. For a damage-reduction effect, take the same attack. For a Blood refill, measure connected hits and the displayed bar.
Do not derive a percentage from one rounded number. Use several repeatable trials and note any server boost. If the current behavior differs from the card, preserve the live result and date rather than silently choosing the older value.
Common mistakes
- Treating the empty Legendary Demon Perks section as a missing fact to guess.
- Building around a passive explicitly marked bugged or disabled.
- Testing Predator against a non-Slayer target.
- Counting animation swings instead of connected M1s for Bloodrush.
- Comparing a base art with a perked art and attributing every difference to the moveset.
- Ignoring a health cost, burden or matchup restriction.
What needs current confirmation
Acquisition, rarity odds, enabled state, exact values, cooldowns, target eligibility and interactions with clans or general perks need live verification. A card can remain visible after a balance or status change.
Use Blood Demon Arts to understand the base moveset and General Perks for faction-neutral options. Keeping the layers separate makes a build easier to test and update.
Sources and confidence
Perk names, broad effects and disabled labels are community reported from the SLAYER public Trello Demon Perks, BDA Perks and BDA Passives cards, checked October 28, 2026. No unsupported Legendary Demon Perk has been added.
