This FAQ answers the current high-friction SLAYER questions documented by the public board. Several answers are explicitly work in progress, so stable menu paths are separated from predictions. Follow the live client when a prompt differs, and do not spend Robux or limited rerolls based only on an undated screenshot.
How do I rearrange the hotbar?
Press Tab, then drag and drop moves into the slots you want. Arrange the first few slots around actions you use under pressure: a reliable starter, a defensive or movement option, a combo tool and a finisher. Keep long-cooldown or conditional skills away from the easiest accidental presses.
If drag and drop does not work, close chat and other menus, confirm the move is unlocked, and reopen the hotbar editor. Test every new position in a safe area before entering Final Selection or a player fight. On touch devices, use the current on-screen edit affordance if Tab is unavailable.
How do I unlock and level a Blood Demon Art?
Press M to open the menu. Current documentation directs players to Play for missions that reward normal EXP and money, then to Character → Skills for the selected Blood Demon Art tree. Blood Level is the separate progression used to unlock art moves.
The current Blood Level card says demons can advance by eating defeated enemies with the default V input and by using Blood training in the Demon hideout. At level multiples of five, complete the heart minigame to limit break before more Blood Level can be gained. See Blood Level for the full loop.
How do I unlock the sword for Moon Breathing or Black Lightning?
The public FAQ gives this route: open M, go to Character → Skills, find the bottom-right node that grants Blood Demon Art M1s, and unlock it. That node is documented as granting the sword used by Moon Breathing or Black Lightning.
Treat the exact node position as update-sensitive. Read the current node description before spending points, and check that the weapon appears in your loadout. If the name or tree layout has moved, follow the node effect rather than the old “bottom-right” location.
Can I obtain Sun Breathing or Shadow normally?
The current FAQ says Sun Breathing and Shadow are developer specifications and cannot be obtained through normal play. It describes the developer panel as the only grant route. Do not spend rerolls, Yen or Robux chasing a public drop that the documentation says is unobtainable.
Cards for Sun, Shadow and Cryokinesis may appear in an unobtainable or work-in-progress area. A card name is not proof that an ability is in the player roll pool. The Breathing hub lists documented player styles separately from developer-only entries.
What does Slayer Mark do?
The current FAQ describes Slayer Mark as cosmetic while active, with access to red blade. That wording is update-sensitive and does not establish a universal damage bonus. Check the live status and skill description before building around an effect shown in an older clip.
If an event, clan or perk modifies Slayer Mark later, keep the source and date attached to the new claim. A visual aura alone does not prove damage, defense or speed changes.
Can I use my own clothing?
The public FAQ links a Custom Clothing game pass and lists a price of 800 Robux at its last update. Roblox product prices and availability can change. Open the product from a verified game or group destination, confirm the creator and current price in Roblox, and read what the live purchase dialog grants before paying.
Do not buy a similarly named pass from another experience. A valid pass purchase happens through Roblox and does not require a password on a third-party site.
When will testing end, and will progress be wiped?
There is no confirmed end date in the current public FAQ. It says progress will most likely be wiped when the game officially releases, which is a prediction rather than a committed schedule. Play the test for experience and feedback, not with the assumption that every roll or level is permanent.
Before spending Robux or a scarce code reward, check the current Roblox description, group announcements and identity-linked Discord. A wipe becomes confirmed only when a creator-owned announcement states it clearly. The Updates hub records dated public status without promoting speculation into a deadline.
Why does Final Selection show different goals?
A detailed public-test walkthrough observed a mode description that asked players to survive 15 minutes and defeat 15 demons, while the in-match objective said “Slay 10 demons before dawn” and a 10-demon clear succeeded. Follow the active objective on your current server and treat both older numbers as version context.
Prepare for the stricter outcome: survive, keep track of the live counter, and avoid unnecessary fights after meeting the displayed requirement. Read Final Selection for preparation and party recovery.
Why will a Breathing form not activate?
Check three gates: the move is unlocked by Breathing Level, the Breathing resource is available, and a compatible weapon is equipped. A public walkthrough observed the game refusing a Flame form with the wooden starter blade and directing the player to forge a Nichirin at the Blacksmith.
Complete Final Selection, take the documented ore to Ivory Passage, forge the Nichirin, and confirm the katana is equipped. If the form still fails, inspect the live skill and weapon requirements rather than buying the move again.
Where should I report a problem?
Use the verified official links to reach the public board and Discord. Include the UTC time, server build clues, platform, action, expected result and actual result. Do not include passwords, cookies, email codes or authentication secrets.
For a control problem, attach the on-screen glyph. For a progression conflict, attach the objective and completion counter. For a disabled perk, include its exact name and whether the interface labels it bugged or unavailable.
